Reflecting at this time of year is always humbling and eye opening. It has been a good year considering we are in a recession. But from the beginning, I told everyone that I was not participating in the recession, so business has been good.
There was a big decision I made to hire an agent that I have regretted. But that has changed and our office is happy yet again. Sometimes it is real wise to listen to counsel, and when many people give you the same advise, it is time to listen. I didn't listen. Paid for it. But very happy now at work.
Sonya has been and continues to be a blessing. I wish I had so many more of her, but so happy to have the one I have. She is so careful and she is loved by all and loves people. This is the type of personality it takes to be in retail or sales. I have clients tell me all the time how Sonya was to work with and I have not had one unhappy client or customer with Sonya! That says alot.
Arminda has struggled this first year in business. She has many clients and is building up her inventory, however things haven't progressed as fast as she would have liked so she got her CNA license and is doing real estate too. I know things will pick up for her, she is in a hot bed of real estate in Wichita, she has just had problems with buyer financing. But she keeps on and it doesn't take much to cheer her up. We laugh about all the issues. It beats crying.
I will continue to grow my business. We have a guy that is interested in getting his license and going to work for me so I am excited to see how that turns out.
I have my son looking into creating an online auction site as yet another avenue for helping you sell your property. Hope we can get this started soon. Barry is a computer engineering master!
