Hubby asked yesterday what I wanted for Christmas this year. We really don't bother with each other unless we know specifically something we want, we are more about the grandkids than each other at the holidays and that is fine for both of us. This started however, when I had a gift shop. What do you buy a woman with a gift shop? Yeah, it was difficult, so to ease his anxiety I said let's just not bother with each other, if we see something during our shopping excursions fine, but don't kill yourself over finding the perfect gift.
I did want a new bottle of Eternity this year, but added "I will even go get it for myself to make it easier." LOL. No problem.
Bob says he wants tools. He owns a machine shop. What kind of tool? Electric something I am sure. I know nothing about tools, I have been known to use a hammer for a screw driver because I couldn't get the stupid screw driver to get the screw going. Ok, enough about my limited capabilities. We could go on and on there.
But I got a great gift in the mail today. It was Golf magazine. I have been getting these in the mail at the office each month. I have no idea who gave me the subscription but I am about as fond of golf as I am watching golf on tv. No thank you.
But on the front of the magazine I got today it is telling me that is the "LAST ISSUE"! I think it was a reminder that if I want to continue with the subscription I needed to sign up again. I didn't sign up in the first place! I have no idea why I started receiving that mag, but I was tickled pink that I wouldn't be receiving any more of them.
Told you it doesn't take much to make me happy. I am still grinning from ear to ear over that one.
Happy Holidays to you too!
