I was reading something this morning and the writer said "Alot of times when people get what they want, they miss what they needed." Such a true statement. Kind of like people who are in the pursuit of happiness, always trying to find it, but never get to enjoy it. I have actually decided that some people don't want to be happy. They think they do, but they miss every available opportunity it seems. So quick to find fault in others that they miss their own. So quick to think everyone is picking on them, but the truth is everyone doesn't even know them to pick on them. They are their own worst enemy. It is really a sad thing to see.
Clueless, left to wander through life, not knowing what they are looking for. Thinking sometimes that the "hokey pokey" really IS what it is all about. So they dance their little jig, only to find out it wasn't fulfilling and they are still empty, because no one is applauding their little effort. They continue looking for something that will entertain and amuse to fill the void. Problem is the void is humongous in some people. You can see it in their eyes. They just don't understand.
Some people think things will bring them happiness. I know one thing about "things". If we all had everything we wanted, I would own an old monkey and a horse and they would be in my house. Silly childhood dreams, so glad they didn't happen.
Blaming others for their unhappiness and finding others aren't accepting the blame. But yet they put on the parade, but their one man or one woman parade goes through town without music and without fanfare and they are left bummed out.
There is hope though. They might find if they start giving instead of trying to be on the receiving end all of the time, that they could find some kind of purpose in their life. Start with a thankful heart.
I heard something on the radio this morning too, they said "what if todays necessities were contingent on yesterdays thankfulness, would you have feast or famine?"
Yep, famine.
What does this have to do with real estate? Nothing. Well, wait, it is about life and my life is real estate, so actually...alot.
lol
