I had a conversation with a guy a while back about people in general and we were talking about how you can be easily deceived sometimes. We can see who people really are by their "fruit". What they do, not what they say. How humble they are, not how humble they tell you they are. How honest they are in their dealings, not how honest they tell you they are. How friendly and outgoing they seem, but you see how easily they are ready to retaliate against someone who they perceive didn't treat them right.
He had experienced some employees that just didn't cut the mustard. They talked big and were anxious to work, but their work ethic was very lacking. It reflected poorly on his business. Can't have that.
But, I have to be honest. I hear talk of good fruit, when sometimes I don't see the good fruit, but the fruit flies. Typically, the fruit flies aren't swarming the good fruit, they are there swarming the rotten stuff. Like the bananas that are reaching that "banana bread stage". You know, not hard enough to eat, getting mushy? Yeah, you know. Well those are considered banana bread bananas, and can still be used, but not exactly primo fruit.
Isn't there a saying "your walk talks and your talk talks, but your walk talks louder than your talk talks?
I'm just sayin, the good stuff doesn't produce flies.
