During the Harper County Fair two weeks ago, lol, we had two wooden electric houses we were giving away after the parade. Harper County Fair time is also birthday week at my house with the grandkids so there is alot of commotion and goings on to say the least. We still had company when we had to go tear down our booth and also babysitting at the time, so hubby went and packaged up all the fair booth stuff. I asked where the little electric house was put and he didn't know. One week later, I found it in the back of our van underneath the next weeks birthday presents.
Got busy and forgot to notify winners so TODAY, I remember I left that little electric house in the van, brought it in after lunch and had Deb draw two names which she called immediately, 2 weeks AFTER the fair! LOL. To say the least, the winners were happy. They had no idea we hadn't drawn names yet!
So, the winners are: Freida S. of Freeport (Couldn't make out the last name) and Lewis McCartney!! Lewis has already been in to pick up his electric house so I explained what happened. Yes, I blamed Bob. lol. Couldnt' resist.
Thanks for those that entered the drawing and stopped by our booth to chat. It was a hot few days and we didn't get to spend as much time at the booth as we planned. So next year, not sure if we will be at the fair, but will still try to make it a habit of having a drawing each year at fair time!!
